Winning Project
The project idea is to restore and revive the historic center, reinterpreting the past without affecting the identity of the place. The architectural language used not deny the reality of the stone, but enhances and upsets . The whole is connected by an underground path that uses the incision of the stream.
The new building, which overlooks Golino square, in the historic center, does not want to fight the system constructive and harmonious scenic arisen over time. For this reason it calls for planimetric and altrimetic morphology, composition construction material to the old complex.
The idea of the building, used as a aggregation center was to have integration between architecture and the surrounding space, taking into account and enhancing the genius loci, “an ancient fortress of stone on stone.”
