The project deals with the northern part of Danube in Belgrade. It’s based on retrain the area with a new urban buildings and new homes incorporating the old buildings and respecting the natural resources of the area. The most important elements of this area are: the river, the canals, the urban design of the historical city and the wind.
The idea is that water becomes the essential element of the project, all houses and buildings are born on the water. Another important element is the cold wind from the south-east, this is important for the sustainability of the area. But the real innovation of the project is use the wind to produce energy with “sails piezoelectric”.
